After watching the documentary, I was pretty convinced his wives did not have good "pickers," as Millionaire Matchmaker Patty would say. That at least the later wives couldn't tell after the first ten minutes of talking to him in a bar that he was a self-absorbed and self-impressed bore (socially speaking) is telling.
