You may be right.

I understand everyone, whether they have kids or not, will be in a position to need help if they don’t die before that time. A network would be nice. Caretakers would be nice. I didn’t miss that. I agree that the professional caretaker system needs revamping for all people who need care. I think my response was a reaction to an overload of seeing people writing about how they matter, how they need to be treated and cared for, and so little by comparison about what others need and how others can be cared for. Probably just one of those days.
