I didn't get the sense that her choosing something for herself was, in effect, passing judgment on anyone else (unless choosing to use formulas for health or personal reasons is effectively passing judgment on people who choose to breastfeed?). My impression, reading her piece, was that she simply never wanted to be a parent, did it anyway, and didn't change her mind about the job.
