I'm having a hard time believing that men in general have this lizard brain effect that requires them to exert conscious effort to control themselves so they don't touch a person they're physically attracted to.
I do understand wanting to look longer than is considered not-creepy (I've seen men I had to remind myself not to creepily stare at), but if the desire to touch is "overwhelming" that suggests to me - no offense - an unusual condition. If it's not something fueled by conditioning that has led you to believe women are here for the touching (and that men are here to do the touching), then it almost sounds like an impulse control issue that could bleed into other areas of life.
