Once the time of consciousness is determined, the argument, "But how do we define consciousness?" will be raised. These are all philosophical issues. The black-and-white issue is, "Who gets to decide whether an abortion occurs?" and the answer is "the person whose body the embryo, zygote, or fetus is feeding off of and/or potentially endangering."
