The more irritating behavior, to me, is childfree people who say, “That’s right! I’m selfish! Living my best life!” (As if selfish is a positive word.) There remains an ongoing need to destigmatize not having children - too many people will still feel pressured into parenthood - and combating the belief that we’re selfish is part of that.
